What is the payout hold?

Why your sale sits in Pending for 8 days and what happens at the end of the window.

When your sale is completed, the amount is credited to your Pending balance first, then moved to Available balance after 8 days. Pending funds cannot be withdrawn yet, but they are already yours — there is no risk of them disappearing as long as you do not reverse the trade yourself.

Why 8 days?

Valve added a 7-day trade protection window in which any sender can force-reverse a trade. Skincash adds a one-day buffer so that if a trade is reversed right at the edge of the window, we've already verified the items are back in our bot's inventory before releasing the Available balance.

Seeing your pending balance

Open the profile dropdown in the top-right. The Balance chip shows Available funds; the Pending chip next to it shows everything still inside the 8-day window. Click the View Profile button for a full breakdown of every pending transaction and its maturity date.

Do not reverse the trade

If you cancel the trade via Steam after accepting it, the items return to you but your Pending balance is clawed back. You will lose the sale. The 8-day window is strictly a release delay, not a cooling-off period.
