How we calculate item prices

The pricing pipeline that decides what each skin is worth — from raw provider feeds to your payout.

Skincash pulls live price data from a basket of reputable CS2 marketplaces every hour and combines them into a single fair-market reference. We then apply a small, flat service fee to calculate what we pay you.

Outlier-safe lowest price

Rather than a simple average, we pick the lowest live listing across our data sources. That's the realistic resell ceiling — buyers go to the cheapest offer first. To protect against a single bad listing (e.g. a stale entry on one source) we fall back to the median if the minimum is significantly below it.

What you get

The price shown on every item card is the exact amount that lands in your Pending balance after the sale confirms, before any promocode bonus. There are no surprise deductions — the number you see when you select the item is the number you receive.

One number, no fine print
We don't charge a separate listing fee, a payout fee, or anything else on top. A single service fee is already baked into the displayed price, so you always know up-front exactly what you'll get.
Apply a promocode for a bonus
If you enter a valid affiliate promocode before confirming the sale, your payout gets the currently configured bonus shown in the payment form. This is a straight subsidy from Skincash — the seller who owns the promocode also earns tier-based commission from the same sale.
