Available vs. Pending balance
What each balance chip means and why there are two of them.
Your Skincash balance is split into two buckets. The chip labelled Balance is what you can spend or withdraw right now. Pending is what you've earned but that is still inside the 8-day Steam Trade Protection window.
Available balance
- Fully released, immediately usable.
- Can be used to buy items on Market, redeemed as promocode bonuses, or withdrawn to crypto.
- Accumulates as Pending entries mature.
Pending balance
- Holds money from Instant Sell transactions and giveaway prizes during the 8-day Steam Trade Protection window.
- Non-withdrawable until released.
- Visible in the profile dropdown and on your profile page, with the exact maturity date for each entry.
If you see Pending going up after a sale but the Balance chip is still the same, that is expected — Balance is only updated when Pending rolls over after 8 days.
